Fresh green vegetable juice is a great way to quickly detoxify the body, add mega amounts of nutrients, and boost your energy. The idea here is to juice mostly green veggies. You may still want to add 1–2 carrots and ¼–½ beet for extra nutrition and flavor, but beware of adding too many of these veggies as they are very sweet and will add too much sugar to your diet.
- 4–8 stalks of celery
- 1 whole cucumber
- 1 whole lemon including peel
- 1 inch fresh ginger root (this is spicy and is optional)
- 1⁄4 bunch of parsley
- 1⁄4 bunch cilantro
- 1 bunch of kale, spinach, collards, or dandelion (dandelion is very bitter – beware)
- 1⁄2 green apple
- 1⁄2 –1 avocado
- Juice all ingredients except avocado.
- Place veggie juice in high-powered blender with avocado and blend until smooth.
- Enjoy immediately or store in a glass jar with tight fitting lid.

Hi!
Can you talk about what you think the nutritional value differences between juicing and blending? I love juices, but feel that I do because of the sweetness and maybe it lacks the fiber that blending keeps more intact, which helps slow the absorption and regulate blood sugar.
Is there a juicer that keeps the fiber more intact?

Hi Kim, Please forgive my delayed response here. Both juicing and blending veggies have value but juicing definitely provides much more concentrated nutrition. Think about all of the veggies that go into a juice. You can juice a whole bunch of celery, a cucumber, a whole lemon, a whole apple, a whole bunch of parsley, etc where it would be almost impossible to drink a blended drink with that many veggies. You have to use way less veggies or it is too pulpy. While blended drinks have more fiber, that same fiber can be irritating for some people and slow down digestion. Juicing provides concentrated nutrition in an easy to digest form. Great question and thanks for asking as I feel there is much misinformation out there on this topic. Juicing is the way to go but I recommend green veggie juices and avoiding drinking too many juices with sweet veggies. Thanks and hope that helps! Amanda Love

Hi Amanda 😊. This juice looks amazing! I’m going to make it soon. I watched your video and saw you pour a tall glass of juice with a lot leftover in the blender. Could you please give me a better idea of how much the recipe makes? Thank you! 😀🌷🏵🌻🌼🌸
